Created a platform to address the ever-growing waste management issues in communities with more than 40 people led by respective Tshogpas from five chiwogs in Dewathang Gewog.
Created awareness about zero waste management practices, developed waste management guidelines, and identified a zero waste coordinator.
The Bhutan Food and Drug Authority (BFDA), Samdrup Jongkhar, has also provided the participants with food handlers’ training in conjunction with World Food Safety Day as a collaborative program.
