Craft from waste has been the heart of SJI’s Zero Waste Program since its inception, as it provides an attractive and positive pretext on how we look at waste; thus providing an innovative approach towards sustainable waste management.
SJI is currently conducting a 15 day training program on zero waste craft skills to 20 youth and women (18 female & 2 male) from Orong, Menchari, Dewathang and the students from Dungtse Central School.
The program is funded by the Bhutan Trust Fund for Environmental Conservation (http://www.bhutantrustfund.bt)
